Huawei Executive Arrested On Spying Charges

A Huawei executive has been arrested in Poland on charges of spying for China.Poland’s counterintelligence service confirmed that the Chinese citizen suspected of spying is Huawei’s sales director in the country Weijing Wang.

A court has ordered that Mr  Wang be held for three months and could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.Last month CFO Meng Wanzhou was arrested in Canada  after she accused of helping the company dodge sanctions on Iran.

Huawei is a Chinese telecommunications company that has been banned by first world countries and is viewed by the US government and its allies as a national security risk. It is one of China’s leading tech companies and sells more smartphones than Apple (AAPL).It has built an advanced telecommunications networks in countries around the world.
