She said,”I am a little upset because I woke up this morning just to see the Ring video on Instagram. I am happy it has gotten positive response so far.I didn’t even see the final edits for the video. The label should have told me so that I could announce it and promoted it to my fans.”
According to the rapper, Atlantic records released the song before the MTV VMAs so that the rapper could promote the song on the Red Carpet and at the Award ceremony. The song is from her album Invasion Of Privacy that included hits such as I Like It,Girls Like You featuring Maroon 5 and Be Careful.
Most of the her singles have either gone Gold Or Platinum meaning that she has sold more than 500,000 copies which is an achievement in this digital age.The rapper also became the first rapper to have two number 1 singles on the Billboard 100 since Lauryn Hill in 1999.
