Iconic singer Tina Turner revealed in her new book titled Tina Turner: My Love Story that her husband of five years Erwin Bach donated a kidney after she was diagnosed with kidney disease.
According to the book the German music executive gave her one of his kidneys when she desperately needed a transplant in 2013. She explained that what prompted the kidney transplant was that her kidneys were functioning at 20 percent and plunging rapidly.
She added she was shocked when her husband wanted to give her one of his kidneys.She said after the surgery they felt happy,overwhelmed and relieved that they were both alive.
