Vogue Will No Longer Hire Models Under The Age of 18

Vogue magazine has just announced that it will no longer hire models who are eighteen years and below.This decision was made with the Metoo movement in mind and to change modelling standards in the industry.

The only underage models who will be allowed to model for the magazine are those that are the subject of an article.They will also be dressed and styled in an appropriate manner that reflects their age and innocence.The public has applauded this move by the magazine after years of featuring young models who the public perceived to have been dressed much older than they really were.

Vogue magazine has featured young models on their covers since the 80’s and broke the careers of models such as Cindy Crawford,Gigi Hadid,Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid who started modelling in their teens.
