Corazone Aquino of Vihiga Queens has been named the captain of the
Kenya women’s Under 20 team which is set to face Ethiopia in the first
round of the World Cup Qualifiers slated for tomorrow (Saturday
September 16 2017).
The team of 20 players will take part in the two-legged fixture with
the hope that they can replicate their past performance against
Botswana in the preliminary round.
The 2018 FIFA U20 World Cup finals that will be held in France awaits
the team should they maintain their good run and qualify for the
tourney. The second leg tie will be staged at the Machakos Stadium on
Sunday 23 September.
